When you think of a post recovery supplement you may grab chocolate milk or your favorite protein powder however for me, my choice of a post workout supplement is Muscle Mlk.

Muscle Mlk is ready to help you recover right after your workout. Whether you are seeking a simple drink or mixing powders or bars, it contains the essential ingredients you need to get your body to recover.  The average Muscle Mlk ready-to-drink contains 25 grams of protein, 11 grams of carbohydrate, and has your 20 essential vitamins and minerals. You can get it in 3 different flavors- chocolate, vanilla and banana. Muscle Mlk is also lactose free and gluten free.

Muscle Mlk is around $3.50 per bottle and well worth the money you’ll spend for the post-workout treat. My favorite flavor to drink is Muscle Mlk Chocolate. It has a taste similar to that of chocolate milk.

As a cross-country skier, it was important for me to find a product that will allow me to recover as quick as possible, as well as something that is healthy. I have found that taking one ready-to-drink Muscle Mlk or using the powder after my workout will reduce my recovery time and allow my body to strengthen.
