Getting The Year Off on the Right Foot

New Year.  New Team.  With only four of us currently living in Whistler we've had some excellent time to do technique work and some good one-on-one time with Coaches Chris and Graham.

We started the new season with two days of skiing before heading to Hornby Island for a Team Cohesion camp with our new psychologist Shannon Thompson.

Upon our return home to Whistler, we did a fun and educational run with our new shoe sponsor, MIzuno, and we met our effervescent Muscle MLK rep.

Over the last week we've been classic skiing on some awesome trails in the upper reaches of Whistler Olympic Park.  The crew there have been putting in some amazing work, building culverts and dealing with the ever-receding snow line.

We've now had two days of rollerskiing this season, which were also Zone 3 intensity.  It's been awesome to have the opportunity to do a few days on snow mixed with a little rollerskiing to get the body used to pavement.
